This fine release compiles four tracks of house techno selected from the EPs "Serpents in the Chalice" "I Need U" and "We Were Shadows" -recovered from the World of Melon archives and offered now again on cassette tape and digital version.

Serpents in the Chalice is a music production collaboration project. It is a convergence of deep heavy vibes vertically spanning both continents of the new world and moving through space time with tidal force and power. Serpents in the Chalice draw equal influence from steamy tropical dance clubs and dark winter nights.

World of Melon is by Dan Melon -involved in underground electronic music and arts since 1999 as a Dj, event organizer and sound designer in Montreal. He is former radio show host of "City Sound Underground," and former co-host of "Your Radio is Broken" -on CKUT FM - broadcast in Montreal and around the world, and featuring new and classic cuts of underground electronic dance music mixed live in studio on two Technics 1200 turntables.
